Richard Gear is an accomplished educational leader dedicated to fostering positive learning environments and driving academic success for all students. With a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and a Pennsylvania Principal Certification, Richard brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and experience to working with students with emotional and behavioral challenges. He believes students reach their highest potential in safe and structured environments that afford them a strong sense of security, a positive attitude toward learning, and incentives for appropriate behavior.
Throughout his career, Richard has helped shape the culture of many schools using his systematic approach of providing a robust school-wide behavior plan that has comprehensive Tier 1 support. Through this process, partnering schools have seen exponential decreases in climate data and in-class student behavior.
